Review

A page says reviewed only after someone signs it

Schoolabe Science practicals are practice aids for CBSE school chemistry. The review line on each page tells you whether a named reviewer has checked that version.

What you will see on a page

Look for the status line under the title, and the Review section at the end. They use the same three states.

  • Draft

A reviewer has not signed this version. Do not treat it as your final school record. The page shows the content version and the date it was last updated.

  • Published, not yet named

The page is up for practice, and it says so: not yet reviewed by a named chemistry reviewer. Follow your teacher and laboratory manual for quantities and safety.

  • Reviewed

A named chemistry reviewer has signed that version. The page shows the person’s name and the review date. We do not invent a reviewer name or a date.

What the check covers

A sign-off is for that version of the page. When a fix ships, the content version changes.

  1. Check 1

The practical belongs on the syllabus

The title lines up with the CBSE Class 11 or Class 12 chemistry practical syllabus, and the source line points to that syllabus and your school laboratory manual.

  2. Check 2

The steps are a school-lab workflow

Aim, apparatus, theory, numbered procedure, precautions, and viva follow the order of a practical record — not a loose set of notes.

  3. Check 3

    Nothing numerical is invented

Concentrations, masses, temperatures, titres, and worked answers are not filled in. Those come from your manual and from the readings you take.

  4. Check 4

Safety is stated before the steps

Every practical says: practise the steps here; perform the real experiment only in your school laboratory, with your teacher present.

Titration glassware. Readings on Schoolabe Science stay blank until you enter your own.

Numbers stay yours

Concentrations, masses, temperatures, and worked numerical answers are not invented on this site. Copy them from your school laboratory manual, and from the readings you take with your teacher present.

The observation table on a practical page is blank on purpose. An interactive lab, where a page has one, rehearses the setup. It does not calculate your result.

Where your school uses the NCERT Lab Manual, the source line says so. Your teacher’s instructions still come first when the manual and the page differ.

If you find an error

Use Report an error on the page, or write through Contact. Say which practical and which line looks wrong. We update the content version when a fix ships.
